Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil Technology

Introduction of Civil

Civil Engineering Technology is one of civilization's classic professions. Seneca's renowned Civil Engineering Technology Program prepares graduates to be dynamic participants in the design and creation of our built environment ranging from the metropolitan infrastructure of bridges, airports and harbors to the neighborhood design of water supply systems, sewage disposal, and residential layout, and areas such as water management, the resource issue of the 21st century.

 

Objective of Programme
In Swedish Institute students get not only the theoretical knowledge but also get the practical experience in the labs equipped with the latest practical equipments. The practical labs are held with the multinational designing, road building, companies for the better exposure and practical training of the students.

Requirements

Programme	Age Limit	Qualification
DAE Civil (Morning & Evening shift)	Maximum up to 27 Years	Metric with Science Subject (English, Math, Physics, chemistry)

Examination

The Board of Technical Education (PBTE) conducts the examination and awards the Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) to successful candidates.

Future Opportunities

After completing the DAE-Civil students can:

■	Start their own business as designers, Draftsman and architects
■	Sub-Engineer in Power generating Station, Public Health, Sui-gas, Pakistan telecomm.
■	Start jobs in the Industrial zone
■	Can Work as Technician in Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, OGDC, and Pakistan Railway
■	Can become Architect designers
■	Junior Lecturer in Technical education
